The Blog

Join me every month while I dive into sessions, show examples of my work in more detail and give advice to other aspiring boudoir photographers on my blog.  What can you hope to achieve reading this blog?

An inside look into creative sessions

Each month I try to experiment with at least one session, these are discounted sessions for clients who are happy to share images and if you'd like to be considered for a creative session please do subscribe for updates. These creative sessions usually create amazingly different photographs unlike most boudoir photographers in the UK and I am always striving for a uniqueness that aligns with my clients personality and individuality.

More in-depth full sessions

I also show more in-depth shoots from parties, cake smashes and engagements among other on location and studio portrait sessions for those wishing to see a more in depth look at how their shoots may look and what I can achieve.

Studio Boundaries

The blog is also where you may wish to read my studio boundaries for Boudoir sessions, these boundaries differ from studio to studio and I want to be upfront about these before you enquire incase you are looking to create images with a partner or video footage etc.

Some tips and tricks I've picked up

I love everything about photography, I definitely identify as a bit of a photography nerd! As I buy new kit and experiment I hope to pass on some of the lessons I learn to other photography nerds!

Mini Session - Festive Baking Shoots! Baking Session Fun Boudoir Images

Introduction to festive boudoir baking sessions!

This was SUCH a blast of a session, run out of my own kitchen in Hampshire, England. Nigella Lawson inspired baking fun with a Boudoir twist. These sessions are two hours, the first hour is all making and rolling dough, playing with flour and poses on the island. The second hour is a change of outfit, dripping icing onto your body and biscuits and making you into the real life snack you are.

The great thing about a festive baking session is that there's always something to do with your hands! Using icing, rolling pins, flour and making real biscuits meant loads of opportunities for fun, naughty poses.

Why do a seasonal mini boudoir session?

Seasonal mini sessions are Boudoir but made fun! They're a great starter for someone who hasn't done anything like Boudoir before or as a seasonal gift for a parter. Christmas minis made great Christmas pressies as did the Valentines Mini session! Other mini sessions are great content for SW's who need shoots to spice up content.

Could I do these boudoir sessions clothed?

Yes! Absolutely, if you are looking for social content, branding or pretty images to keep for yourself but you don't want to be in your undies, there's no pressure at all and I am happy for you to style yourself in any way you see fit!

But what about posing?

I have two main services, boudoir and weddings but on top of these I have shot branding sessions, maternity, kids, families, all sorts!! In the past few years I have built a huge repertoire of poses ready to use for all people and so if you want to come and do a boudoir set as a professional I can help.

What about Hair and Makeup?

Hair and makeup isn't included in mini sessions but I am always happy to arrange this service and have lots of incredibly talented contacts I can ask to come into the studio first.

I want to do this set!

This session was from 2023 but if you'd like to do this session I'll be running it in 2024, just pop me a message about pre booking when it goes live or check out my mini offering for my bi-monthly seasonal set.

Can't wait to host you already!
